Sherman Cymru will be performing Gadael yr Ugeinfed Ganrif as part of the National Eisteddford, show starts 8pm on  Mon 2nd Aug, Tue 3rd Aug, and Wed 4th Aug, 8pm – 10pm.

During the dark days of the ’79 referendum, Wales had lost its nerve and the Welsh rock scene was wallowing in nostalgia. But the raucous visit of the Sex Pistols to Caerphilly had stirred one schoolboy’s imagination. He had to be in a band…and from then on things were never quite the same.

Weaving images, music and a true life story, this is the autobiographical adventure of one man, spanning the last two decades of the Twentieth Century that brought us Cool Cymru and finally a Senedd in Cardiff Bay. An energetic and heartfelt portrayal of a time in our history when a restless generation insisted that the world came to Wales and that took Wales to the world.

Gadael yr Ugeinfed Ganrif was developed by way of Sherman Cymru’s New Artists’ Development initiative.

John Harris, TPUC will be giving a talk on his perspective on life – be warned, he could mess with your mind and turn your world upside down -comes with no government health warning.

During his talk, John will also be launching Truthjuice South Wales on 20th August from 7pm – 11pm – a monthly event with talks, films and discussions on alternative research subjects.
